Our Story

Rooted in Delaware Since 1938

Hundred Acre Farms is a small, family-owned farm in Smyrna, Delaware. For generations, our family has worked this land, and today we're proud to continue that tradition while growing something of our own.

Our Roots

Generations of Farming

Our family's story on this land began in 1938, when the farm was purchased by our great-grandfather.

For nearly a century, the farm has been part of our family's life. Corn, soybeans, and grain have traditionally been grown here, and those crops remain part of the larger farm today.

The land has changed over the years, but the connection to it has remained the same.

The People Behind the Farm

A New Chapter

We're Ali and TJ, the family behind Hundred Acre Farms.

What started as an interest in growing more of our own food gradually became something bigger. Alongside the traditional crops, we began planting fruit trees, growing berries, raising bees, making small-batch jams, and eventually establishing our Christmas tree fields.

Like many small family farms, we're building this business while also working full-time jobs away from the farm. That means plenty of evenings, weekends, and learning things the hard way.

Every season teaches us something new.

What We Grow

Growing With the Seasons

Today, strawberries and Christmas trees are at the heart of what we do.

Spring brings strawberry season, when months of planting and caring for the fields finally turn into fresh berries. As the year moves toward winter, our attention shifts to Christmas trees, holiday wreaths, and welcoming families to the farm.

We've experimented with plenty of other crops and products along the way. Part of the adventure has been discovering what grows well in our soil, what we enjoy working with, and what we can realistically care for.

We're always learning, improving, and finding new ways to make the farm better.

Our Community

More Than a Farm

One of the most rewarding parts of Hundred Acre Farms has been sharing what we grow with our community.

Whether someone stops by for strawberries, visits during the holidays, or simply follows along as the farm changes with the seasons, we're grateful to have them be part of our story.

We're proud of where this farm came from, excited about where it's going, and thankful for the opportunity to keep our family's farming tradition alive.

It's hard work and a lot of long weekends in the mud, but we love it.
